Next Lodge General Meeting: October 28 2026, 7:30PM

Mike Santo is an attorney and member of the Order Sons of Italy in America.
He has developed a program on the preservation of Italian American
history. He will be presenting a program at our October 28, 2026 meeting
about the shocking lynching of 11 innocent Italian men after the assassination
of New Orleans Irish Police Chief. Mike was instrumental in obtaining an
official apology from the Mayor of New Orleans to the OSDIA Commission
for Social Justice that included Mike Santo. This event and the treatment
of Italian immigrants in New Orleans was recently documented in the
book "Cobblestones" written by Salvatore Perricone. A successful, official book signing
of this book was held at the Brumidi Lodge in Deer Park on September 3rd.
